e-asTTle update - new functionality
Published on Monday July 16, 2012
The scheduled release of new functionality in e-asTTle has been successfully implemented and is now ready for use. The update includes a number of new enhancements.
Fix of manual validation
Student year levels will now update correctly when the manual validation option is chosen when importing students.
Fix links in student-speak ILPs
Links on the student-speak ILP reports were not functioning for all browsers. This has now been fixed with the exception of users of Internet Explorer6. You are advised to upgrade to a newer version.
Student result summary with progress report (in Student Management area)
Teachers will be able to access all data on a student’s record, including that from previous schools. To access this data go to Manage Students from the home page, and choose View Student Result Summary. Choose a group and then students in that group will display. Selecting a student to add will display all tests this student has sat, in order of school and then the date sat. You can see the results for the student and also information about the test such as length and the strands that were included (abbreviated).
Printable student result summary
The student result summary can be saved in a number of formats or produced as a progress report based on the test/s you wish to have included. You can determine this by either clicking on the check box in the title bar or the individual tests you want to include.
Extended version of Individual Learning Pathways report
In the previous version of the ILP, not all of the questions were shown on the report and this led to confusion. It was felt that all questions should be shown on the report. The report now extends to ensure all questions are included in the report. Where the report goes over more than one page the dials and scores will show on all pages.
Date filter on Manage Assignments screen
The Manage Assignments page in the Assign Test area now has a date filter, to simplify sorting if there is a long list of tests.
Please pass on this information to all staff who use e-asTTle.
